Blast from the past, a true fave during my college days. Very affordable comfort food at its finest. Was ecstatic to see this branch as I drove along Yakal street, had to stop by for the Tapsilog that never gets old! Cashier was friendly despite me having a large bill only, gave me change with no apprehension. Atmosphere is typical pinoy fast food, but that's not the reason you dine here.
Food is great and atmosphere is comfortable. But service is subpar. Most of the time they always forgot condiments even though we repeatedly asked, this goes for grab orders in this branch as well.
It was a pleasant surprise seeing rodic's while driving along Yakal. The serving is a bit different from the branch in UP campus but still close. The tapa used to be a lot and drier/flakier which i prefer. There are other dishes i didn't see before like dinuguan, kaldereta. The place is spacious enough on a Sunday afternoon.
The place is clean and simple. The food is decent but not life changing. The food is just reheated but so far tasted good. Pricing seems high and not really at par with the quality. I guess you’re just paying for the name and reputation. Not sure if the original branch is different or better.
It's an average fastfood tapa place but my friend told me it's a go to eatery in UP. They added branches so the quality will be hard to maintain. The Tapsilog was okay. What caught my interest is the Beef Caldereta. It was crazy soft and tasty. The restaurant's interior is kept clean but the design is average. Although, it definitely feels like a diner and the area is well lit. Ps. Be careful at the entrance, there's a step-down where I almost tripped haha.
