Romantic Baboy is a Korean barbecue place where you order meats to cook over a grill. Unlike other restaurants, Romantic Baboy uses charcoal for grilling which somehow makes the meat tastier. It will take a while though for it to hit maximum temperature. So cooking will be slow at the start. But once it gets hot, cooking gets faster. You have a variety of meat to choose from. They only accept cash. What a joke. In a lot of countries you can pay using your phone (Apple pay, etc) or credit card. But here, they only accept cash. We spent an enormous amount of time looking for an ATM that actually works which is very rare in shopping malls in Manila. Either they don’t have cash or the machines are broken. The food was terrible! 80% fat! Mataba. Puro taba! And the reception was a snub! We entered the restaurant and she didn’t even bother to look at us. Will never come back here again. Total waste of money.

My boyfriend and I ate here yesterday evening. At first the staffs were entertaining our requests; bringing lettuce, ice, water, etc. However, habang tumatagal hindi na sila namamansin. I understand that they were a lot of customers at that time and it can be overwhelming, we gave you the benefit of the doubt. “Excuse me po” “Sir” “Ma’am” were said by my boyfriend multiple times and majority of your staffs choose to ignore our pleads.
