Owned by an Australian, Roo’s Cafe gives you a taste of the land down under. Aside from offering hefty meals, they serve strong coffee and alcoholic drinks. The cafe stands out!
Good food and coffee, and chilled staff member. Went in the afternoon so was quiet.
Everything is great, the service, the location, and the food. the steak was a bit tough and chewy though.
I was kinda shocked when I see the prices, they are pricey. No AC, no CR and not very pleasing ambiance but mall-like prices. Service was slow. Maybe there were other customers upstairs but didn't see anyone coming down. P299 for 'overloaded' nachos, very underwhelming for the price. Toppings were not even flavorful, very minimal beef. I could tell they use cheap sauces. Good for 2pax. P275 for classic cheeseburger with like less than 10pcs of fries. lol. Burger was good but those fries ugh upsetting. Both dishes took too long to prepare, they served it separately with long interval.
Ate here late at night. The space was cramped and there were a few customers. I didn't like how the cafe/resto smelled, especially the 2nd floor. That might just be the Cubao Expo experience. Service was just okay. Pricing is just right. The burger tasted great and the ingredients were fresh. I liked the fries the most. I would go back for the food.
