Been a fan of their Benavidez branch since 2018 and kept coming back for it. However, after the pandemic, it was closed when we went there. Funny thing was, I saw one of their crew walking past us on the closed branch and followed him which led us to their branch in Lucky Chinatown. I got confused cause we ate at Lan Zhou La Mien but this one is San Guo La Mien. Got in, checked the menu and it’s the same. I was so happy that the taste didn’t change. Dumplings with lots of meat. Beef hofan with lots of beef. One serving of their dry noodles can already feed 2-3 people. Definitely worth it
Now I know why a lot of customers are queued and willing to wait to get seated here. People come back for the food. The pulled noodles are very good. The soup is heavenly. And the customer service esp. the crews are veey attentive and helpful and are happy to serve.

I highly recommend their dumplings ♥️ We were the 2nd customer that morning, they accommodated us very well especially when I was asking about their menu. They gave free healthy tea. They served everything fast. I noticed that they have all male staff, I suggest hiring some women. The surroundings were great 😊 Will definitely back again. 👌
Went for dinner and surprisingly it was not that busy. Staff are very attentive and courteous. Serving of food is also fast and volume was also fairly plenty! After placing the order, the beef wonton noodles came in less than 5 mins! Highly recommended and will come back again.
Definitely a go-to around the area. San Guo La Mian, located in Lucky Chinatown Mall, is very accessible and has good seating capacity (plus, airconditioned comfort!). The Beef Wanton La Mian is a must-order. The beef is tender, the hand-pulled noodles are perfectly chewy, and the broth is light and savory that’s flavorful without being overly salty. If you’re not in the mood for soup, the Tao Chow Guisado is a great pick—it has that smoky, slightly sweet, and savory stir-fry flavor that reminds me of Char Kway Teow, with just the right amount of wok hei. The fried dumplings are plump and …
