Tried Sandaime at their Greenbelt branch. That time, there were few customers so we were served quickly. Ramen tastes great, so as their rolls. I highly recommend the truffle pizza! Must try!

AMBIENCE We were walking around the mall to see what was new and we spotted this Japanese restaurant. We're not sure if it's new per se but this was definitely our first visit. Decoration felt really Japanese with all the Ukiyo-e (Japanese paintings during the Edo Period) and lanterns hanging around. While browsing through the menu, we were overwhelmed by the choices because there were so many photos. In fact, almost all the items had photos, a dream come true for my companion. We had an unpleasant experience. Sandaime staff apparently failed to have one of our orders prepared. Were it not for my follow up, the meal would not have been served. We waited for more than 30-45 mins. Also, one of the restaurant’s servers was unattentive to our earlier request for follow up. Fortunately, the manager came and rectified the order. But most alarming of all is the non-observance of basic hygiene protocols. The tray used to serve the late “chashudon” (as seen in the pic) smelled of cockroaches.
