Service was kind of slow. Food was okay, ordered bunch of lunch. Air conditioning was bad, worsened by the summer heat.

A far cry from its heyday when shakey's conjure fun, excitement and delicious, oven hot, crispy pizza brimming with toppings including super stretchy mozzarella cheese. What we had was dysfunctional, overworked wait staff, in a lethargic parlor and a pie not dissimilar to reheated frozen pizza. Crust was thin, more chewy than crispy, veggies were not even scorched despite a wait of over 30 min for it to come out- and lukewarm at best. Stringy real mozzarella MIA. Sadly, not worth the wait.

I was served a very spicy scallop pizza. I ordered this once already & I remember it being mild tasting. I was initially happy because there are more scallop pieces & more cheese. I also noticed basil leaves which was not present before. I did'nt notice first the spiciness bec you can not see any Chile flakes bec there were a lot more cheese. But I saw Chile seeds peeking on my 2nd slice. I bought home the rest & placed it in the Ref. After 2 days I reheated it the cheese receded & I saw all the Chile flakes & seeds. I tried many US franchises here in the Phillipines by now and NONE has given me a positive experience Shakeys was next. . I ordered a lunch combo. Sloooow serving. Only 4 tables were occupied and took 20min to serve. The pizza was cold and chicken undercooked. What were they doimg the 20 min i was waitimg i wonder? . Another dud on the american/phillipines food experience.

we ordered take out, first we wanted a hand-tossed pizza, but they said that it was unavailable so we had to settle for thin crust, then the waiter told us a 15 minute wait. we had been waiting for 30 minutes. no sign of our food whilst the other guests were already being served.
