Met with a friend in One Ayala and good thing I knew that they now have a branch here. Food is good as always. We got the Roasted Chicken meal, vegetable fritters, and Bok choy. It’s very filling, we could have ordered just one roasted chicken set and it’s enough. Servers are really attentive so service is prompt. Cleanliness is also maintained.
great food, though pretty overpriced esp the chicken soup. jasmine tea was very fragrant and sweet and sour pork was divine. the noodles and beef were pretty good too
peking duck is different from how it used to taste back then, although still delicious — pretty good but you’d expect something dazzling or remarkable if it was from shang-ri la TT
Hainanese chicken rice with service charge amounts to 320+. There was a clear instruction on the table on how to go about mixing the sauce. Chicken rice was very yummy and the meat tasted very clean. It was served cold so it went really well with the sauce. There was also refillable soup served along with it. With this price point, I was hoping the server would ask if I'd like anything else and make a recommendation but there wasn't one. Getting the food was fast but there was a bit of delay when billing out as I had to call the attention of a waiter to get my payment.
