GENEROUS GENEROUS SERVING... this was super filling!! i got the yokohama tonkotsu shoyu and the broth was actually super thick, rich, and flavorful! their unagi sushi nigiri changed my life - i liked it A LOT 👍🏼 we also tried their melon cream soda!
We went here yesterday and we were the only customers—lucky for us because it wasn’t crowded and noisy. We ordered Kyushu Tonkotsu Ramen & Yokohama Tonkotsu Shoyu and it was sooo gooddd! Their menu’s very affordable also. We ordered a matcha cake but disappointed because we couldn’t taste the matcha and the cake’s a bit dry. But we still had a great time dining in although the restaurant is small. My new go-to japanese restaurant.
The ground floor consists of the Japanese grocery store. Grocery items choices are not that wide. The second floor has the restaurant. The stairs are a bit steep, so one must be careful. What we ordered: Tantanmen Ramen, Ebi Tempura, Katsu Curry, Milk tea, and Lemon tea. Food rating 11/10. The atmosphere is more like Yamazaki Grocery in Little Tokyo Makati, except there are fewer Japanese diners. The price range is 200-500, only bang for the buck.
I went here in May 2024 with friends, based on Spot dot PH recommendation on best restaurants within Araneta Center. The food is delicious and big in serving. I went back a month later with another set of friends. This is the place if you want the best Japanese food in the area.
If you are looking for a Japanese style food here in Cubao this is the place you should be. They offer several variations of Japanese cuisine food at a not so expensive price. I tried their Beef Curry, Shoyu, squid gyoza and Salmon sushi with they famous Watermelon Soda with free custard cake. Their Shoyu is nice, the squid gyoza is a bit chewy and hard to chew. Their resto is located on the 2nd Floor of their grocery which you can easily find because they are highly visible from the outside
