July 2024: I ordered crispy bagnet kare-kare. Food is decent and it tasted okay.
I'm evaluating this fast-food chain based on the Pakbet Bagnet I ordered. They offer pre-cooked meals, so be prepared for lukewarm food. The redeeming factor is the crispy and delicious Bagnet, essentially lechon kawali. Be cautious about cholesterol. I do wish they could serve the meal warmer, akin to freshly cooked dishes.
I give it a 4-star for the bagnet rice meal. It is still affordable and very filling. Even after the pandemic, they managed to offer a meal within my budget. The orange ilocos empanada is a satisfying meryenda. This is one of the fast food located at the basement food court of SM Makati.
Just a regular Filipino meal for me and nothing special, yet their grilled chickens are delicious. Expect the full crowd in the evening. Located at the SM Ayala Basement, beside the escalator near BDO.
