Sat around 2 in the afternoon, I enjoyed the calmness of the unpacked dining area. The Caesar salad was great, and I loved the cappuccino. I will definitely come back again. However, I didn't like that they had to take my credit card out of the store without informing me beforehand to swipe it in the adjacent restaurant where they got the coffee. It would be better if they had their own coffee maker or card machine in this restaurant, rather than conducting transactions at Sombrer. Moreover, I appreciated the friendly and welcoming attitude of the receptionist, Jonie.
Got to visit this & very good design the vibes we're awesome Took some pix of vintage style & it will surely bring back memories 😁 Uni comfort room is clean & nice Lot's of seats outside & upstairs If ur looking for some venue for ur event u can consider the place. Though wasn't able to check their menu & price u may inquire to them Orange drinks that they served nice will quench ur thirst Chicken & rice big portion kinda bland for my taste 😬 Sounds & lighting 👌
Had late dinner at this vintaged theme restaurant. The interior is quite cozy and the decor ranges from items in the 60s like vinyl record players, trends in the 80s like cassette tapes, vhs and even the 90s like the older cell phones, very nostalgic feels. For the food, we ordered chicken strips, bourbon burger, pasta pronto, grilled porkchops and lousiana state ribs. I only got to taste the ribs and it was ok but a little too pricey for me. The place is nice for dates and hanging out with friends especially those who appreciates vintage/retro ambience.
The place, parking and area is nice however during our stay, it took an hour for our food to be served. The food is okay, we ordered a lot! 😊 overall, 3 stars.
We sat at around 8pm food did not arrive until after 10, while the final dish came at 1045pm. Even the chicken wing platter which should be a quick service took forever. Food was subpar…Pork Belly was already cold. nachos was stale, cheese sauce was cold. Fried platter tasted like frozen food just reheated. Our server was hospitable enough and kept apologizing. Everything else was an utter disappointment.
