Instead of going to Biggs nearby, I opted for Small Talk Café, as wanted to sit at their small terrace. After a few minutes with a fresh beer, I cannot stand the heat and move to indoor with AC. The pinangat laing has much more taro leaves than the one in Pares Queen, making it more yummy for me. The Adobong Manik sa Gata is balanced, portion is big enough to make full a big eater. I finish the meal with a brewed coffee and the recommended Pili pie which is luckily not too sweet. The pricing is reasonable. Most of tables were occupied at lunch by locals. The service is attentive and smiling. …
Filipino food, like the rest of the country, is very eclectic, and Small Talk Cafe does a good job mixing Asian and European food together. Often, other Asian countries ignore things like crepes, as chopsticks just don't work.
Love the food. We tried the Mayon Pasta, Pili Basil Pasta, and Pasta Pinangat. Love em all. Very homey atmosphere. If you're in Legazpi, this is a must go. Not the posh resto you're looking for, but fusion of Italian and Bicol cuisine is a great try.
one of the highest rated restaurants on the city so ofc we had to try it out! service was great. catered us even if its almost closing time. didnt rush us or anything. place was small and homey. inside is air-conditioned but they also have an alfresco dining. food was also good. probbly made a mistake ordering the taro fries 😅 but the other dishes were good. would highly recommend the pili nut pie! it somehow tastes like a cheesecake 🤩 accepts credit cards.
For a highly reviewed resto was expecting more. Out of what we ordered The only thing i liked was the chicken. The mayon pasta was meh 🫤. Pizza was unavailable to think it was only 6ish at the time and on a weekend they should have anticipated the orders. Overall i think it just a hype.
