Shanghai fried rice is so soggy, part of the fried rice is cold and other parts are hot. The crab shells are visible and could do fatal damage if not recognised and swallowed. We waited more than 30mins for the food to arrive and only two tables were occupied. Never again!
So this review definitely coming from an outsider’s taste. It’s my first coming here and I’ve been living in Cebu for quite some time now. I know. Such a shame 😅 My friends been telling me about Snowsheen for a very long time and it’s just a matter of letting myself to try their food. Snowsheen definitely a nostalgic experience for most of Cebuanos. As an outsider and first timer, it really didn’t quite get my taste but these few menu really hits me, love the shanghai rice, quail soup and buttered chicken. Canton which is their specialty didn’t really hit me. A lot of things factor in, lik…
It might take time for them to serve the food but you will not regret from waiting since there food is really great. No wonder why they are a legend in terms of classic Filipino Chinese dishes.
Very affordable and delicious. Based on what I experienced there, the staff seemed like a generic karinderia vibe. Not bad and not overly courteous. Food was good. I guess it was just me when I felt nauseous cuz the food was somewhat fatty. If tea was available (doesn't matter if it's a cheap tea), I think I would've been able to finish my meals. The atmosphere was nostalgic to the early 2000s vibe. Prolly a place stuck in time.
The best chinese restaurant in downtown Cebu. We used to have our family celebrations here from way back during our childhood. ☺️ Eating here makes me feel nostalgic. Up to this day, it still is at par with the best chinese restaurants here in Cebu.
