We were celebrating our brother's graduation. He graduated summa cum laude, the class valedictorian and he also won the best thesis award! A celebration like this was truly deserved!!😆 We ordered Pla Neung Manao, Phad Thai (super yum!!), Sambal Udang, Sweet & Sour tofu, Kare2x Fish & Chips, Asam Goreng, Nimbu Pani, Khao Niao Mamuang.. and of course, we also enjoyed ice cream for dessert! SPICES at The Pen is great for Indian food! Here's a tip: you won't find many Indian dishes in the menu these days, but there's a hack! Ask for Chef Leo and get him to make Green Peas Masala (Mutter Masala) & Paneer Bhurji (or scrambled cottage cheese) and enjoy with naan. Start off with masala papad as your appetizer

We celebrated our dear friend's birthday here. The restaurant is elegant and we had a table reserved at the far end of the room with a garden view. They serve Asian cuisine which we can unanimously say, were all good. It was a long lunch for us. And the service was great. Lunchtime was until 2pm so we transfered to the cafe after.

Had a yummy meal here … the menu is diverse and it like the option of getting different curries from different countries. I think the Indian curries were the best. Worth a stop if you’re in the neighbourhood.

I visited a few times while staying at the hotel. The Asian food wasn’t the best I’ve had and felt a bit overpriced, but the service was great, and the mango sticky rice was definitely the highlight!
