This place is almost always full at night because the vibe is so nice 🥰 it can get a bit noisy, but it's still cozy. Seats are big and comfy. They offer unique drinks such as oolong based fruit teas (with big chunks of fruit), lemon coffee, and strawberry coffee. I just wish they had non caffeinated drinks! 😅
As a Vietnamese coffee lover, I appreciate the rich and robust flavors of their coffee. However, I find the serving size to be overpriced considering the overall taste and ambiance of the place especially when you can find similar quality at a lower cost elsewhere. The place can get quite noisy when it’s full, and they could improve the acoustics to reduce the noise level. If you don’t mind paying a premium for to-go coffee, this place might be for you. However, I’d rather get my ca phe sua da fix elsewhere.
Paid 175 for a small coffee cup with barely any liquid coffee in it. Felt like I was sipping on nothing but air. When I was in Vietnam, I only paid 50,000vnd (100php) for a tall glass of Ca Phe Sua Da and that was at a nice restaurant called L’usine. This is pretty much robbery. I know Vietnamese coffee is more potent, but I didn’t think my order would come in an almost espresso sized drink. They also don’t take card payment.
First time trying Starbeans, the only available food is Chicken Pho, all drinks are available and I tried their Vietnamese Coffee - the one with condensed. I love it, I just wishes that their Bahn Mi is available.
Coming off from a recent trip to Vietnam, I vividly recall the coffee drinks we tried in Ha Noi and Ha Long Bay. What we got here are drinking cups with heaps of tubes of ice and only a few sips of the drink itself. Please be more generous with the drink volume. Maybe lessen also the condensed milk in the milk tea since it overpowers the color and bitter taste of oolong tea.
