We were looking for a place to eat in MOA, and we decided to try Mesa. We had to wait for a while outside as it was fully packed, but we're seated after 20 mins. The food we ordered was really nice, though some dishes were not available. Overall, the food was good. The braised beef was my favorite. Staff was alright.
Kitchen staff too slow to prepare and cook ordered foods. Some veggies are not totally cooked. Flies flying around.
Won’t recommend! Just like the other review, their service is verryyy slow. We arrive at about 1pm. The lady told us to wait and there are still queue before us. As we don’t have other place to go and we are really hungry, we waited. About 1:30pm, we are still patiently waiting outside the branch, they only have about 4-6 chairs outside to cater for those waiting. 1:30 pm we were asked and have given our order, we were thinking its ok to wait as long as we will have the food on our table as soon as we are seated. We are seated at about 2pm, again we waited patiently while looking at others…
We ordered bangus pinakbet, grilled squid and bagoong rice. We were excited to try Mesa again after so long. Unfortunately the bagoong rice tasted nothing like bagoong, pinakbet looked liked it had a cornstarch sauce that had such a flat taste (they ran out of bagoong? Or forgot the salt?!) the grilled squid had one side that was just chewy. So there… it’s not the same as we remembered Mesa of before. Too bad, we had such great memories when we ate at the Greenbelt branch.
Took too long to get our order, even the beverages took at least an hour to come. We were sat there waiting- there's no atmosphere (just noise), the restaurant was even warmer than the shopping mall's passageways. When I look around, the staff were actually busy so makes one wonder whether the restaurant could actually cope with the number of costumers they can have
