Starbucks - Gateway Mall 2

As of August 26, 2023, this Starbucks branch has been operating for just a week. It makes sense that everything looks new and polished. It has a more industrialized design that other branches.

There were only two baristas during our visit, and we’re the first customers; we didn’t have a problem ordering.

It was a cozy shop, to say the least. I hope they maintain its state for long.

When we came here long costumer line cause they only have 1 cashier we actually waited for about 35 mins. Before our nos. Called, 1st time to dine in here the place is cozy the ambiance is nice...

Long waiting time, might be because only few staffs were available. And I think most of them are trainees so the serving time is a bit long and the blend of the coffees are sweeter compared to other branches. This branch is always fully packed, though they have chairs and tables available outside (still inside the mall) but air conditioning is not really great.

Starbucks Gateway 2 is a great place to just chill and hang out before or after a concert or event. QC ordinance re: plastic use is strict so be sure to familiarize yourself on dine in and take out policies.

One of the starbucks with longest waiting time. They are just chilling and you can’t see any sense of urgency despite of the long line forming. They don’t focus on making on drinks and they do unnecessary actions such as laughing and gossiping.

They have enough number of staffs but they are still slow. Order taking is slow, preparation of order is slow.

You can’t say that it’s peak hours, it’s not. It’s just that the staffs here are slow, that’s why lines are forming up.

Patrick, Joyce, Franz, Angela and Pat are slow — they have time to laugh and chit chat with each other.
