Cosy Starbucks on the corner of Roxas Blvd and Pedro Gill Street. Called in for breakfast after walking to Dolomite beach area. It wasn't very busy at 8am. The staff were quick and attentive. Very nice place to look out the window at Manila Bay.
Rare are those Starbucks branches that are filled with people yet has that cozy vibe still. Not the biggest and most spacious coffee shop in Manila, but this store’s interiors and warm service compensate to other factors that are lacking. I enjoyed my visit.
Though the building where this branch of Starbucks needs a renovation, the Starbucks cafe itself is kept very well. There's even a large painting inside and this branch probably has the biggest toilet ever in a Starbucks. You can order your hot or cold coffee / non-coffee drinks here along with your choice of pastries / breads.
It's a Starbucks. You could be anywhere in the world once you step into one of these, and that's both good and bad. But if you need a cup of coffee or a strong cup of tea, it's a great option. In my limited experience the Philippines is a coffee country and quality tea is hard to come by. But you can get both here along with the usual selection of snacks. Very pleasant, quiet interior with plenty of seating. View of the bay. Wi-fi.
SB will always have that good service. This Grapefruit Cold Brew is refreshing and ideal for a hot day in Manila. It's so good!
