Portion is big. Seafood is fresh, tuna is a bit too salty, soup is too huge. Fried rice is good, service is good. Lemonade is tasty.
If you’re in the area, this place is definitely worth a try. The food feels like good home-cooked meals. The tuna panga was a standout, and I loved it. The sweet and spicy squid and pinakbet were also really tasty. Overall, a solid choice for a satisfying meal.
Decent place to have seafood, although not much options for solo travelers. This place caters mostly big groups. The ambience of the place was really good although the service was sub par. The staff didn't seem happy to have a customer. I got the Kinilaw, which is the Philippines version of ceviche along with Thai soup which comes in a serving size of 3/4. The Kinilaw was decent but I wasn't a fan of the Thai soup and I could only taste the tomatoes in it.
The staff were really nice and even showed us the other rooms with other antique items collected by the owner. I think I remember one of the staff said they had another branch as well in the city, where there are also antique items. The food was so good! Loved the buttered scallops 🤍 There were only 2 other tables with customers aside from us as it was Dec 24 but they were busy with deliveries. I'd definitely go back and try the other dishes they have!
Big portioned servings. Try the Tuna Panga and the Kinilaw. Chopsuey and Ribs were too sweet though
