First off, the actual sandwhich was very close to what was advertised on their board. All too often, you have a really delicious picture of a meal, and you get disappointed with what is served. This one did ot disappoint. I started eating the sandwhich with an initial thought that it was a little "light" on the meats. submarine center is the only spot i know of where you can get an authentic american-style sub. they use quality meat which is generously piled on. the bread alone is a standout - soft, fresh, with the perfect amount of chew. they don't cut corners on quality or quantity. definitely worth a visit if you want to indulge in a top-notch US-style sub. worth every centavo!

If you're looking for Submarine Center, they are no longer on P1 of Powerplant Mall. The spot they were located at before is now occupied by Jabroni's Pizza. The Original Submarine Center is now on R3 Cinema level, sharing space at the Cinema Snacks Counter. They say that they are waiting for a more permanent stall in the mall when one is available. If you're going to charge New York deli prices for a pastrami sandwich, the ratio shouldn't be 75% bread. I was disappointed to find more chopped veggies than meat. The serving size is more like a Manila portion with New York pricing. The meat was paper-thin, almost like what you'd find at Subway.
