Chose the Malatang with level 2 spiciness. For the sauce, I chose the Sichu Peanut sauce and Sichu Mala sauce (or was it chili oil, i forgot) the Sichu peanut sauce complements well when mixed with the broth. You can choose your own dish and they will cook for you. They have many choices for meat and vegetables. The price is 1 peso per gram. You can also choose the spicy level. 1 big bowl with 1000 grams is good for 4 pax already. The best ramen so far. Must try! They have also sauce you can choose with.

Probably my new favorite place in MOA. The malatang (hotpot) has a strong sesame paste/peanut flavor. It was not my favorite, but it was okay. The drypot, however, is the best!! I really love the flavor profile of the drypot sauce, and the quality dipping sauces complement the protein. I just wish they'd have more options for the noodles. I was looking for flat and long noodles but had no luck. I picked the ramen noodles instead, and it did not disappoint. The noodles were cooked perfectly, the veggies are still crunchy, just the way I like them, and the balls absorbed the umami from the sauc…

Sichu Malatang is a hotpot restaurant located on the ground floor of SM MOA. It is similar to Super Spy in Mandaluyong and Mala House in SM North. You take the bowl provided on the rack choose the desired raw ingredients ranging from vegetables, meat, and mushroom, with noodles as your option, and present it to the counter for weighing, payment to order, and wait to be served to you the cooked ingredients with soup. There are spicy levels to choose from. The price is P1.1 per gram.
