as someone who’s tried a lot of matcha, ₱350 is already pretty expensive, so i had high expectations. but when i tried it, the matcha tasted like the kind you’d find in snr.. very average. there was potential, though. the cream top with the cheese was a nice touch and actually tasted good, but the matcha itself was really poor in quality.
My girlfriend and I are die-hard matcha lovers, and we’ve been into many places to find great matcha around the Metro. We tried this out thinking that, as a Korean brand, it would taste as delicious as we expect. We were utterly disappointed. The matcha latte was bitter, watered down, and had a funky taste (not even an aftertaste, it was directly hitting your tongue) that was off-putting , to say the least.
