When we think about going for mongolian barbecue, Sweet Inspirations is way at the top of our list. This restaurant located along Katipunan avenue has been there for decades - and we've been going there when we were still students, and even now, 20+ years later. The place is cozy and conducive to family/friend gatherings, the staff are friendly, and the food is great. The unlimited Mongolian buffet is only available during weekends, but is well worth it. Sweet Inspirations is our top choice when we crave for Mongolian rice bowls. The restaurant itself is cozy and perfect for gatherings, as they have accommodating staff and great food. It can get busy, especially on weekends, so arriving early is advisable. Their Mongolian buffet offers a delightful array of options, allowing you to create your own unique bowl. Their desserts, especially the sans rival, are exceptional. Overall, it's a double thumbs up from me 👍🏻

The place is clean and well-maintained, with plenty of tables and chairs available. They offer a variety of pastries and sweets. Service was relatively fast, and the server was polite. However, the food left much to be desired. The pesto and pancit were bland, and the spare ribs and pork barbecue were just okay. On the plus side, the portion sizes were generous. Mongalian Bowl was super good with lots of toppings to choose from

First time to dine here with friends today. We were all first-time visitors in fact to this old but gold restaurant along Katipunan. Skipping the Mongolian rice bowl, we ordered beef kare-kare, lumping ubod, chicken cordon bleu, and lasagna. The taste was pretty good, but none of the dishes really was outstanding. The oxtail tripes in the kare-kare were tender and easy to chew. We missed having the ube amd mocha java cakes, but we loved the slices of pistachio sansrival, chocolate delight and cookies and cream.
