A hidden gem in the Pioneer Centre area! Surprisingly delicious japanese food for a reasonable price The sukiyaki was comforting, sushi was good, the tofu was nice, the ice cream was very good I wouldn't recommend the rice bowls (Katsudon and something else) but I guess it's not their strong suit

Takashi Japanase restaurant branch in Makati had been my go-to lunch place since it was beside my previous company’s building. I’ve tried almost all of the items in their menu; a few items were a bit salty, specifically the sauteed vegetables and spicy beef, but the rest were excellent e.g. fresh salmon sashimi, chahan, ramen, chicken teriyaki, don bowls, etc. Now this particular branch at Pioneer Centre near Kapitolyo Pasig is no different. Excellent ramen that is not too expensive. The shoyu ramen was really simple - just good broth, bouncy noods, and melty chasu. The Takashi iced green tea was really unique in that it had an earthy, smokey flavor. Although food was served quickly, the staff were not that attentive (even though I was the only customer).

Came here with a large group of about 10 pax on a Saturday night. The menu is quite extensive and prices are actually quite cheap. Food also tastes decent, but service was really slow. They also mixed up some of the orders, causing further delays. They also forgot to bring out several items but punched them in the receipt. Perhaps on a less busy night with fewer people, their staff will not struggle as much with the service.

For a Japanese restaurant, the service is really bad. My partner ordered chicken katsu, I, on the other hand ordered a chicken katsu-don. The only difference is the egg. His was served immediately while mine was served 20 minutes after his. It tastes very mediocre too.
