Various choices from their menu. Spacious dining area and good customer service, attentive to customer's needs. Love their turon con yelo.
Took us a while to try Kuya J again after a so-so experience in another Kuya J branch. It's a good thing we tried again because our dining experience in Kuya J SM Novaliches is a pleasant surprise. We were supposed to eat in another restaurant beside Kuya J, but yet again, the waiting line is long, so we decided to go with Kuya J as it's not full. We were immediately seated. Pros: 1. There is no waiting line. 2. Extensive menu of favorite Filipino dishes. 3. It was one of the best halo-halo we had and at a very fair price, too. Highly recommended the cheesy ube halo halo espesyal for the sa…
Had our meal today October 20, 2024. The order arrived almost an hour after being taken and was completed at 50 minutes. The taste is what you expect in a typical restaurant. Funny thing is, the other table got theirs even tho we ordered before them. We understand that this is not a fast food restaurant but order should not take this long to arrive. We had to follow up our order a few times.
The last time we ate here was several years ago before pandemic. Quality of food deteriorated, we were there at 10 am, just opened, seems food served was leftover from Saturday night, bulalo was in bits and pieces, soup a lot of fats, mukhang ininit lang talaga, fried lumpia same thing, ininit din lang. A lot of items in the menu were not available. Restroom floor ma-sebo, one senior even commented linisin nyo naman baka madulas ang customer! Am not setting foot in this restaurant ever again!
