This is an alfresco dining but they don’t allow pets inside. So for our fur parents out there. Don’t bother going this branch if you brought your fur babies. We decided to do takeout. We ordered their beef caldereta and pork liempo silog. Pork Liempo silog: ⭐️ - meat is not marinated. It’s boiled pork, grilled and applied their marinade sauce. - for a boiled meat it’s not even tender. Beef Caldereta: ⭐️⭐️ - Meat is not tender however the sauce is good. Our overall experience is underwhelming. I hope the other branches of this restaurant offer better tasting food and thank you for the free…
I don't eat egg shells🥚 I told staff about egg shell from my plate. His response was "okay"🤔 Anyway, I don't eat egg shells. They served huge one. 🐃Tapsilog was good enough. Sweet and garlic. Similar to sweet version of Chinese beef brisket from Leching. 🐮Bulalo, it's okay but they didn't have a bone marrow. They informed me after long waiting. 🦀Crapsilog, becareful with this one. Especially who has a weak teeth. It's all mixed with cartridge and shell of crab. Worst dish I ever tried this year. Looks&sounds good. But taste normal and dangerous😅 🐽Letsilog, just normal fried pork silog, …
This restaurant obviously has its loyal customers of comfort Filipino food lovers. They have a wide range of all-time favorite pinoy dishes. The food is good, and the ambiance is bright and lively. They are generous in their serving size. The only letdown was their pata tim, which was very tough and thus hard to chew or even slice. Parking is limited, and to accommodate customers during peak hours, they will allow double parking. However, it's a hassle when you are parked in the outer slots and would need to remove your car to give way to leaving customers parked in the inner slots.
The overall experience was a bit underwhelming, and the tapsilog didn't taste as good as it used to be. I'm not sure if it's the branch, but I can remember a better-tasting tapsilog at a different branch. Ensaladang Talong was the saving grace. Customer service was okay. There's no A/C, and the number of fans is limited. Lots of flies. Definitely won't come back here again.
This is our go-to place for no frills Filipino comfort food. Their silogs are good and the servings are reasonably generous. My only minor complaint is that the ‘si’ part is just plain rice, and not ‘sinangag’ (fried rice). But still, it’s a hearty meal. Their bulalo is good too. Their other dishes like the pinakbet, lato salad, and deep-fried baby crabs are also straight forward Filipino dishes cooked at home style—which is the best way to prepare Filipino food: no twists, no gimmicks, and no pretensions. Vivian’s gives us that, that is why we always come back to this place for a hearty go…
