I dunno why this place is so underrated :D . I ordered the Jalapeno Cheese Burger and their Fish Tacos for lunch. The burger was juicy and super flavorful but not too overpowering. The buns that they used for the burger soaked all the juice from the patty and salsa so eating the burger didn't leave much of a mess. But despite this, the buns didn't become super soggy . The fish was fried perfectly and wasn't dry at all. The taco is a bit spicy lang so if you have a low spice tolerance, I'd recommend you ask them to lower the spice level (if possible at all hehe) Service was also great despi…

Good Mexican restaurant in SM North /Trinoma area. We love the quezo and nachos dip. Their burritos are also delicious but way smaller now. Less one star because of service. Basic utensils have to be followed up. A lot of stuff in the menu weren't available as well. Woman at counter cannot be bothered for anything too. Credit terminal is always not working. We will come back just because there isn't much Mexican option in the area. Hope their service improves though. Prices are pretty high for such bad service.

June 2024: Food is not authentic and serving size is small. The garlic sauce is bland, pepper sauce is not that spicy and salsa tasted like water. I rather eat at Mexicali instead.

This is my first time to experience Tequeria Chupacabra. I was craving for loaded burrito that's why I decided to try out this Mexican California inspired restaurant. I had burrito, chimichanga and fried chicken wings. I enjoyed the beef chimichanga although it could use less on the wrapping thickness. The burrito was Ok, but I still was looking for a big, tight and full of taste burrito. But this one is ok already.
