We've eaten at the BGC branch of the restaurant so I had some level of expectation before we even sat down. The entrance (it's actually a back door) thru Powerplant Mall was quite hard to fine - if you blink while walking, you'll probably miss it. The layout was quite cramped - much more cramped than the BGC branch. But that layout actually works - giving pocket spaces where diners can enjoy their meals in semi-privacy. I had a fantastic dining experience! The excellent food, attentive service, and inviting ambiance all contributed to a memorable time. The sukiyaki served by the chef was particularly noteworthy, making it a potential favorite of mine. Kudos to the accommodating staff for enhancing my overall enjoyment. Most of the food items are priced affordably. The Okonomiyaki was a winner. Though the steak was a bit tough and over priced. It takes about twenty minutes for orders during peak time. Private rooms available.

Was super hungry after class, decided to treat the bf to their wagyu tasting menu. It filled me up for sure but the Wagyu was meh— had better. Still a good experience tho and it’s cheaper compared to other tasting menus I’ve been.

Sushi is fresh, expected given the price point. Gindara is tender as always and service tea is also enjoyable. Quality is on par with what you’re paying. Nothing mind blowing, just consistent decent authentic japanese food.
