The atmosphere is okay at first, but then flies kept swirling around our table multiple times. Chairs seem unstable but without a creaking sound. It was warm too, and it smelled like the sewer outside. The food is okay. One of my companions did not like the dinuguan, saying something was missing out of many dinuguans they tasted. You can consider them as one of the pioneers in the local restaurant scene. Today they are still standing strong and there's a simple reason for it. They are Family oriented restaurant that serve good food at good price (relatively). We ordered their bestseller the chicken bbq and lumpia shanghai for lunch. Their chicken has that very distinct taste that is sweet and nutty. Breading has no place in their recipe, and because of that, the chicken skin may look burnt or dark but the meat inside is still juicy and well marinated too. Though the BBQ sauce is a bit too sweet for me, it's still my favorite Chicken BBQ of all time. Chicken was well cooked (no blood and not burnt) and flavorful. The consistency of the rice is perfect. For the service, I think the staff needs to smile and be more accommodating. They looked so serious.

30-45 minutes wating time. Serving Bowls might not be as big as you see. My sinigang na Bangus Belly turns out to be a small serving. Boneless chicken is flawlessly tasty but i prefer World Chicken and how different its taste particularly with burned/charred chicken parts. Brazo De Mercedes is not too sweet and yet interestingly decadent that you will ask for more. Staffs are slow to assist on customers.
