Food is really good and is worth the price. That said, service does not always immediately attend to our needs even though it is not peak hour, maybe because we did not have a reservation or maybe because we don't look rich enough. Something was off according to my companions. There were no napkins or wet towels for a fine dining restaurant. The bathroom lock is weird that the person before me did not know how to lock it. The soap smells good though. There are some improvements that can be made but overall it was fine. We can still go back.
Maybe it's just me but the quality is nice however it isn't as beyond what I expected it to be considering it's pricey. It tastes just like the homecooked dishes in Binondo for less expensive price. What disappointed me was how the interior was designed. It wasn't exqusite and looks like a regular catering service. The draperies made it look cheaper and some partition curtain. It is a 3⭐ simply because the food is not bad and the attending crews are jolly, accomodating and of warm service, which is expected from young Filipinos. I just hope they are well-fed and well-paid.
One of the best cantonese restaurants in Manila, its really authentic! Their seafood crispy noodles are really thin, which is how its supposed to be (most i’ve seen around are really thick). I also like their Ham Suy.
food was pretty good but on the pricey side
Signature Szechuan Dan Dan La Mian: nice and spicy with a little bit of tang which cuts through the richness of the sauce. Steamed Pork and Shrimp Dumpling: tasty and you can notice the distinct texture of meat vs shrimp. Deep-fried Yam Dumpling with Scallop, Minced Pork, and Mushroom: nice and fresh. The outside was crispy, the filling was savory, although I would have liked to have more filling with it. Iced Jasmine Lemon Tea: refreshing? 😅 Service was very welcoming. I was seated immediately, which I think is commendable considering restaurants might want to save big tables for multip…
