Special Mixed Congee had very fresh ingredients: shrimp, squid, fish, and chicken. I really enjoyed the shrimps and squid in particular. Mixing everything with some kalamansi and soy sauce is a good move. Refills and service time were quick. Place is pretty family-friendly. Make sure to try any Mantou.

The house of Mantou is a small tea house or restaurant located along Quezon Avenue, a walking distance from Ma Mon Luk. They offer chinese-style cuisine that are delicious, such as dimsums. They have a signature Mantou, from an original to a flavoured chocolate and milk cheese Mantou. At first, milk cheese mantou is delicious, but it can be sickeningly sweet for some because of too sweet level (that includes condensada). Other than that, it is worthwhile to return for a dimsum. Taiwan-style chicken is soft, crispy from outside and juicy from inside.

I'm rating House of Mantou 5 stars because the food that we ate there was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. Also, I like the ambience. Even though it's on the busy Quezon Avenue, it doesn't feel like it when you're inside. We enjoyed their fried rice, choice cold cuts, dumplings, and stir-fried kangkong stems which was a surprise. It has that crunch and bit of spiciness to it that we all love, perfect for balancing the heavy Chinese cuisine. This is legit House of Mantou. Mantou were soft, chewy and tasty. We had the ube steamed mantou and the plain fried mantou for take home. They're so good. For dine in, we had beef brisket noodle soup and clay pot. We enjoyed the comfort food perfect for the weather. Hot latte and iced milk tea were a bit on the sweet side. All good! The only problem is their parking which is only a slot.
