Hearty experience PLACE: Very homey! Love the vibe. ORDERS: Sisig - 10/10 serving size is good. Taste is good. Would order again! Lemon Fish with turmeric rice - 5/10 the fish & vegetables on the side were TOO SALTY. It felt like it was over seasoned. Like you need to eat rice after every bite of fish/veggy, which I’m not a fan of since for me the ulam should be able to stand alone even without the rice. As always, I love finding restaurants that have a nice view, relaxing & gives you that close to nature-vibe. You can see that it’s overlooking that body of water/park. First time to try to eat here and it won’t be the last. I love that they offer vegetarian options like the beef with mushroom rice which they used a no-meat beef & it’s really tasty. You can’t tell it’s not beef unless you’ve fully read the menu description! Their adobo mushrooms appetizer is super yummy, nakakabitin lang. The bagnet sinigang is so good. I recently had the pleasure of enjoying lunch at The Morning After, and it was an experience worth sharing.
