I come to this store for the food more than anything else, and that is what's most important... at least for The Original Pares Mami House Retiro. There are a few parking slots, but street parking is abundant... especially at night. We were able to park across the steet, with the guard helping out. Be careful crossing the street! The place is not airconditioned, just to manage everyone's expectation. Seating is just like a typical "carinderia". The seats flank the 3 sides of the store. Food was served quick, good if you are in a hurry. Best seller Pares tastes good as usual. They also serve refreshing iced cold water. Weather is very hot these days so if craving for Pares better to have it delivered at home, as the store don't have AC.

A Pares Lover's Paradise This place is a must-try for pares lovers. The beef is incredibly tender, the sauce is flavorful, and the soup is satisfying. The fast service is a plus. I always come back for more!

The best beef pares! Just look at the beef cut, not the typical you would see nowadays. The taste is also consistent to how we know it back then, legendary and classic. The star anise flavor stands out as we know of beef pares. Worth the trip, my hubby's first time to try the original pares 👏 Parking space is by luck, almost always the side street parking is full so park at your own risk.

The Original Pares Retiro is Still Good Asado Style Pares... Most of their Food Taste are Chinese Style One thing I do not Like is the Sanitary Standard... I have not Caught it on the Video but there is a Rat that Run on the Customer Dine in Table... Which Cause a Small Commotion...
