Few choices for the price but most dishes tasted pretty good. Miso soup was warm not hot. Roast pork, pizzas, bread were yummy. I wish Management would consider my suggestion that since their ad on the RW page says "Mediterranean cuisine" they should add a selection of cheeses for both lunch and dinner (waiter told me breakfast buffets have) and they should have some olive oil and balsamic vinegar on hand for those who want to dip in their yummy bread.
A buffet restaurant located inside Maxims in Resorts World. They have a simple yet functional set up of foods, not much choice though. They have breads, some cheese with butter and jams, pizzas, soups, salads, unlimited drinks, rolled sushis but no sashimi, beef calderetta, chicken, some veggies, pasta and noodles. Desserts are ice cream with different flavours, fresh fruits, some pastries and the best selling pudding topped with milk or chocolate glaze. Free flowing coffee and relaxed ambiance.
For a buffet in a 5 star hotel, there's too few choices here
Been here a few times and what irks me the most is the inconsistent quality of their food. On one visit the roast beef was just right and tasted good, on the next it was, for lack of a better word, inedible. On one other visit the spaghetti was delicious and then next visit, it tasted odd. Sure it's buffet and all you can eat but if the food is not of the same constant quality, it's not worth it. On another visit, it took them forever to replenish the bread baskets that I just gave up waiting and went straight for desserts. There are some hidden gems in their offerings, but with far more …
That's the "aglio olio" they served from the pasta station. Just garlic, pepper and pasta. How unimaginative. Very disappointing!
