UPDATE (9/25): New favorite place to order Mango Sticky Rice too. Just the right amount of salty sweet with great rice texture!! Best so far in Metro Manila. Absolutely delicious. Huge portions and below Makati prices. We ordered the Fried pork belly Pad Kra Pow and the Seafood Tom Yum and I wanted to cry with happiness with the flavor. You can ask them to lower the spiciness. Hard to replicate Thai food here but their food is a great version! Will most definitely be back. Cannot recommend this place enough.

I have tried almost every Thai place in the Makati area--in Poblacion, on the Washington Street, and in the malls. The Thai Plate is really the best place to get pad kha praos, curries, and pad thai. Occasionally, their page on Facebook posts specials; by far, the most delicious are their beef curry and their beef noodles. The broth of the beef noodles is like a cross between anise-flavored Chinese braised beef and a mild, lightly herbal papaitan. It's yummy, authentic, and pretty good. The waiter was really nice. However, they were dealing with mostly takeout orders and put less value on the customers dining in. The aircon was dirty and you could barely feel it, plus there were only 3 tables. Overall it was pretty good and I would recommend it.

The Shrimp Pad Thai is great. The Mango Sticky Rice not so good. The sticky rice itself was just too sweet. I don’t think the cook even checked if the sugar added was too much.

Food is just okay and good for sharing. We really liked their beef thai basil but their chicken pad thai is too sweet for us. Service is excellent but there's just a lot of FLIES when we dined there. :( Hope they can fix the issue with the flies.
