Smaller space than Din Tai Fung but much more authentic in the food options. Portion wise, it is similar to the latter. On the dim sum, however, the portions are bigger. So don't hesitate to order.
When I crave for dim sum, this is one of the places I always consider going to. Quality of the food is almost uniform in all their branches. It is always very reliable. Their pork buns and the beancurd roll are my favourites. The service can be really slow. They had a lot of floor staff but weren’t very attentive. The atmosphere was also not very nice. Tables and utensils were not very clean, and the AC was leaking in the 1st table we sat at. Good thing their food is always good.
A very nice dimsum delight. My fave of all of the dishes we ordered is the Spicy Dumplings. It was full of flavors with its sauce. As for their Pork Buns, it was good but could've had more fillings. The rest of their dishes were all good as well. They are just simply delicious dimsum. But the best part of these dishes are that they are affordable compared to other Dimsum franchises out there. I like how Tim Ho Wan stays consistent throughout the years. Another classic go-to Chinese food chain that definitely hits the spot when craving for one. Order kuchay every time you go there.
This was my first visit to Tim Ho Wan, and if all Tim Ho Wans are like this, I honestly find them overrated. The tables were sticky, suggesting they weren't cleaned properly. At one point, I touched a surface and ended up with sauce on my hands without knowing its source. The food was adequate for the price—good enough, but nothing particularly memorable.
