I chanced upon this place as i was passing by the area. And i was hesitant at first because the area is enclosed. You know...the protocols. But i was lucky that i was the only diner, so i took the chance. The place is small but they managed to dress up the place to make it appear big. But still, the ceiling betrays the notion as the headroom is low. So, you would be crowding inside if there were more than four who would get in. I guess this is just another "house converted resto". Very cozy place, nice place to hang out. My favorite place along Maginhawa St. offering exotic pulutan. Must try!
A bit pricey, but the food is good. Girlfriend said shake was bland, but she eats way too many sweets so I'd give the shake a try anyway
My husband and got to see and dine at this place as we ride along Maginhawa street and it offers wine by the glass, home cooked meals. Great casual place to be in. Last time though it seemed to be closed or may have moved.
Tried this new restobar in Maginhawa on all souls day, so we had the place all to ourselves. We wanted to order Tapang Usa or Baboy Ramo but both were all out, so we ordered Fried Pugo (299) and Dinakdakan (200) instead, together with some beer. Pugo (or quail) was well fried, crispy, and flavorful; served with vinegar and kropek. Dinakdakan was also good, pork pieces are properly grilled and seasoned well.
