Such a nice place to chill and catch up with friends. It’s pleasant both inside and outside but we stayed in. We ordered an Americano and an iced latte and both were great. We also ordered a slice of the Bruce Bogtrotter cake, which is honestly too big for one person.

After searching all over Makati and BGC for a great mocha, I finally found it at Toby's Estate! In BGC. The mocha here is spot-on, rich, and perfectly balanced—just like what I’m used to in Melbourne. The service is top-notch, and the team is super friendly. Special shout-out to LJ, who’s an amazing barista with incredible coffee art skills. The coffee not only tastes great but looks beautiful too! The cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect spot to relax or work. Highly recommended for any coffee lover in Manila!

Their coffee is strong from a non-coffee drinker perspective. Ordered their latte and a chocolate chip cookie to pair it with, which balances the bitterness of the coffee. The place was also not full when I visited. It's a bit pricey than other coffee shops.

I was disappointed with my recent visit to Toby’s Estate at Shangri-La. The latte was just average—the aroma wasn’t as rich as I expected, and the flavor lacked strength. Unfortunately, they didn’t offer any milk alternatives, which was surprising. The baristas were dismissive and seemed indifferent, lacking the warmth or attention to detail you’d expect in a coffee shop. I fondly remember their original location, where the coffee was bold and aromatic, but sadly, the quality has noticeably declined.
