It’s always a good idea to get coffee and desserts at Toby’s Estate. The calmansi pie was not too tangy and sweet and had a pretty solid graham crust. The carrot cake tasted fresh and the frosting was smooth and soft (was not straight out of a cold fridge or something). The cookie was just ok, unremarkable. Flat white and long black were satisfying (as always). The service was fast. The place was pretty crowded on a Sunday. Restroom was clean and stocked.

My husband works nearby so I usually wait for him here. It’s relatively quiet. I was pleasantly surprised with their matcha latte, it was perfectly warm and bitter. The latte art was lovely too. The cappuccino was good too, my husband loved it. They have a wide range of pastries and cakes to choose from. I’ll try some on my next visit.

The atmosphere is a bit odd. It doesn’t look like a coffee shop when you first get here. However, once you are inside it is pretty nice here. A bit dark but the coffee is good and the pastries are excellent. They also serve a few savory dishes here. I just had a piece of Mango kalamansi pie. Very nice. The staff is nice too and I find the prices totally ok.

Wow. The food was incredible. We had the big breakfast and ordered a side of sour dough bread. The flavours were impeccable and the bread was so soft and fresh. Also the best coffee I’ve had in the Phillipines - it was on par with Australian standards.

Thankfully this place was open. Went to visit Legazpi Sunday Market which was showing on maps as open but clearly wasn't. Food here was lovely. Portion sizes good. Only negative thing, customers had their pocket pets in there which barked and carried on till they finally left. For health reasons, don't have pets in there
