One of my favorite hidden finds in Makati is this hole-in-the-wall Korean restaurant. You walk through the kitchen to get inside, where they’ve converted the first floor into a cozy, homey dining area. The owners are Korean, and the quality of the food is evident from the many Korean locals who dine there. I often bring friends here for authentic Korean food. This is one of my favorite Korean restaurant. I’ve been here several times with my friends if they want to try some authentic Korean food. This restaurant is owned by the Korean man and I highly recommended their side dishes for freshness. As for the ambiance, since it’s family owned, the place is quite cleaned and tidy. You will see the owner there at his own corner while you dine in. He is friendly and willing to assist.

This place cracks me up. Good Korean food, but when you arrive, all you see is the kitchen. We had to walk through the kitchen to essentially enter the owner’s living room. We ate dinner while he watched shows on his iPad. Good place if you like Korean food and don’t worry much about decor.

I've dined at this place twice now, and it has quickly become a favorite. The converted house setting, complete with traditional tables and chairs, creates a cozy, home-like atmosphere. During my meal, I noticed the owner, possibly Korean, playing the guitar nearby. I opted for the pork samgyusal, which was nearly toasted and served with six tasty side dishes—apparently a standard with any main dish.
