writing this as a self-proclaimed filipino food heritage advocate: i absolutely love toyo’s concept and their intention. i’ll just leave our favorites here, though i might not be able to fully do justice to why they are the best for a reason.

if you are planning to go, just do it. it’s more than just the food; it’s a whole experience. we got the tasting menu and chef’s kiss it was delightful—the flavors, the textures, and the stories behind them make perfection. toyo has the hype right now, but i hope this serves as motivation for others to explore and champion our local ingredients.

really the best for a reason

Toyo Eatery is the best!! I had really high expectations for this menu since everyone has been talking about it — and it definitely did not disappoint. As a big fan of Filipino cuisine, I truly appreciated how perfectly balanced and thoughtful the flavors were. Every dish felt intentional and elevated. I’ll definitely be coming back to try the tasting menu.

It’s my 3rd time here in Toyo but it never disappoints! My top 1 for sure!!!!!
