I rarely eat at Tropical Hut because their branches are a bit far from my home and the places I frequently visit. However, I recently had the chance to do so. I love the atmosphere, the food is great, and the staff are friendly. If you're tired of the usual fast food options, Tropical Hut offers a variety of choices. Their menu is budget-friendly too.
It's always a delicious classic. My go-to is their Double Burger. The Fried Chicken is one of the best-tasting fried chicken in Philippine fast food chains. The Pancit Malabon is a little bland.
Nice classic filipino fast food. Chicken is good. Palabok is better than jolibee.
Good ol' classic taste. Brings back memories! This is not my usual Tropical Hut place but the food taste has not changed one bit! Sad to say that the company has not improved or modernized the atmosphere but still reminiscent of the good days (if you are into their classic look/feels). I wish that they don't go out of business since Tropical Hut is a classic go-to burger in the Philippines.
The menu displayed on the counter wall is too small to read. I hope they will have a handheld menu for seniors and people with poor eyesight. Restroom is unavailable as of writing (March 1, 2024) Serving is small compared to other fastfood chains. I ordered bistek tagalog w/ rice (175 pesos) & quick fried beef w/ rice (175php), the serving and taste is very similar to a local karinderya: 1 cup rice, 1 cup viand. Photo of quick fried beef for reference. I think their specialty is their sandwiches. I ordered an extra tuna sandwich and it was good.
