not your typical fastfood stop. lots of unique food choices. value for money! you will love it here
I love it.. first and its original Tropical Hut Since 1965.. unlike Jollibee came in 1975 .. like tropical hut said.. Babalikbalikan ang Sarap which its true..
First time ordering palabok here and to my surprise, i liked it better than Jollibee which has half cooked shrimp that i Hate.
Went here because of the viral tweet. Prior my visit, I was only able to try Tropical Hut once. The place looks classic. The positive thing about it is that it brings nostalgia. What they can improve on, however, is the maintenance of the place. It looks like it kept its traditional vibe, which may not appeal to today’s market. They need to up their branding, repaint the walls, install an air conditioner, and more enhances to keep up with the times. I like the burgers the most. They don’t look and taste mass-produced. It gives you a feeling it was specially prepared for you in a home kitche…
Adding to the fact that Escolta street is not that appealing to anyone at all, this Tropical Hut branch doesnt even try to create the ambience more interesting. No music at all to make it likvely. I even heard the store manager talking on the phone while seated at the customer area. Though it's the only fast food you'll find since Jollibee was closed years ago. I believed I was served fried chicken from the microwave oven since it was 3pm inthe afternoon. Business hour on weekdays is from 6:30am-7pm, Saturdays 6:30am-5pm, Sundays and holidays from 6:30am-1pm only.
