We end up in this restaurant randomly during a walk in the beach. We had the Squid Adobo and the crispy pork belly. What a pleasant surprise. Delicious squid with squid ink…. Thank you Reyan for looking after us. You won the challenge, your food is really delicious and thanks for the “sauce” suggestion. Will be back before the end of the holiday.
Randomly came here while walking the beach—the seafood was amazing! To start, you can pick your live seafood and they will cook & prepare how you want, so the seafood is fresh. Location is great—right by the beach, ocean front. The restaurant itself is very casual, nothing fancy. Food was delicious! Highly recommend the Lobster (Butter Garlic or Thermidor), Butter Garlic Prawns, Bangus Belly Fish, Stir Fry Kang Kong and Fried Tofu & Pork. The Prawn Tempura was okay, not crispy the way I preferred and the dipping sauce was straight soy sauce. For drinks, the Pina Colada and Mango Shake …
I first sat down in this bar because it was flying a whole swag of rainbow flags. It’s not a gay bay, but the nod towards diversity was worth a tick. And thus started a week-long love affair with this bar. Not universally, mind you - the food off the menu (as opposed to the associated pick-and-cook fish stand) was pig ordinary. However it was the service that shone here. Most staff were a treat, but special praise to Remar. What a legend. The very embodiment of hospitality. The location on Station 3 (very close to Station 2) afforded outstanding people-watching.
CAREFUL - DANGEROUS!! A living nightmare! My very first bad experience in PH. Ordered two lapu lapu fish. The first time it came, it was burned outside and raw inside. We complained to the lady at the reception/bar and sent it back. We explained that its still raw inside. When we got it back it was still way undercooked. We stopped eating since we were concerned about our health. We told the lady that we are not willing to pay the 2000 pesos (1700 for the fish, 300 for rice and drink). Since we dont want to be disrepectful we offered 1000 pesos and thought we’re being generous. Thats when the…
We were looking for a seafood ihaw in Boracay. Such a rarity in Boracay Beachfront nowadays. Unless you eat at the overpriced Dampa/V Hub. We were on a budget. We ordered one fresh squid and 1 cup of rice for 2 people and they billed us P715. The squid turned out to be super dry and rubbery! Didn’t even finish the rice even if we were two. The squid was so dry. Their utensils were carinderia levels. I couldn’t even cut the squid. Asked for a manager and waitress went back to ask why we were looking for the manager. DO NOT EAT HERE!
