I looked at the previous reviews and the quality has slipped a lot. The buffet is fine from 0700-1000 or 1100. Here's the grossest thing they did. I ordered the American Breakfast at noon and I'm 99% sure they just served me left over food from the breakfast buffet. I've eaten the buffet, I know what the food looks like. My breakfast looked the same and was cold. I'm pretty sure they just kept the American Breakfast food under a heat lamp and served it to me with a straight face. The Kariton Experience of Uma Restaurant in Maayo. It is 650 per person with a minimum of four people per Kariton. What I like about the place: is the Filipino ambiance with a modern take. The area is not crowded and gives you an intimate experience. What I feel is the downside is the false assumption that the Kariton is refillable. I suggest the place has more servers who would refill the Kariton. Overall, the experience was average, but it could be better.

Unlike most buffets with a wider spread, Uma’s was more given into quality over quantity. You can tell that all of the food the serve are the choice ones from an array of items to cook. Their breakfast buffet speaks of the Cebuano pride by serving different kinds of Chorizo and Danggit. Yet the international items are available as well as a catch-all. The staff, as in Maayo Hotel, are proactive and eager to serve.
