Great place to satisfy your Japanese food cravings! Their Umi steak is really good, perfectly cooked and tender! Their Chizu Aburi Tempura tastes great with some cheese oozing out your aburi. Chicken Karaage is just fine though. Will come back to try other dishes on their menu. Place is cozy too.

If you are looking for an airconditioned place to eat without sacrificing taste, go to Umi. We ordered: California Sarada Aburi Roll, UMI Kani Salad, Yakisoba, Cold Cha Soba. Tempura, Tuna Teppan, and Gyudon What stood out for me: California Sarada Aburi Roll and Cold Cha Soba! My boyfriend has never tried cold soba and this was his first time and he was really delighted as well. If you want to try cold soba, Try it here. Will definitely come back here again!

Love love love the food. Ito yung the best food na na try ko sa Elyu. Sayang lang because I stayed for a week and na try ko to ng last day ko. I should have eaten here every day cause a lot of restos in Elyu are disappointing. I find Elyu restos overpriced, but if ganito ang lasa ng food. I am willing to pay more. They were on soft opening when I visited, so you're not gonna feel the Japanese vibes yet. I saw some of their furniture/equipment still wrapped during my visit. We were craving for Japanese food in Elyu and we went to this new place Umi. Heard that when they opened, it was al fresco style. Good thing they recently installed some AC. They have great selection of aburi rolls. Their sashimi and donburi are also good. We ordered: • Salmon Sashimi • Chizu Ebi Tempura Aburi Roll • Gyu Tamago Aburi Roll • Katsudon They have plenty of parking, too!
