The food is good, my favorite being the Beef Tikka Masala. The place has a laid-back vibe, making it great for a night of solo drinking. However, there's a distinct musty smell, and smoke occasionally drifts in from the smoking area.
Good pub if you crave for a draft beer. They only have local beer on tab but that’s fine. There is more beer in bottles. There are several tvs that show all kinds of sports. Typical pub. Interior is slightly old school but fine. Service is attentive and prices are ok.
The dining area is cramped. Half of the pub is given over to the smoking area. The smoke gets into the nonsmokers area, which is a shame. The food is good with British, Filipino and Indian dishes. Steaks were not available on my last visit :-( Wide selection of beers. Go for the bucket of six or buy 1 get 1. A single local beer is expensive. Buffet lunch and dinner on Sundays. Buffet curry once a month. It's worth a visit
When looking for a British pub feel in Manila, look no further than the Union Jack Tavern filled with all things British—high prices and unspiced food included. Recommending going on happy hours, as the place may seem unaffordable. However, the vibe of the place is great for a good catch up with friends, and (I can imagine) an even greater vibe during rugby watch parties.
I go here for the Guinness. It’s the one of the very few places in Manila I can find it. The cocktails are so affordable and they’re not so terrible either. I like watching rugby when they do have it on TV. Only thing I don’t like is last night there was a huge rat that just crossed the restaurant floor like it wasn’t a big deal.
