Decided to go to Tagaytay with friends to try famous dinner buffet at Veranda at Taal Vista Hotel. The location of this hotel is absolutely stunning. Taal Volcano is right in front of you. The food was absolutely delicious and customer service was impeccable. Cool temperature and its proximity to Manila made it a must visit for a day trip.

A great place to spend an extended, slow lunch on a drizzly, foggy and slightly chilly Saturday. Buffet spread @ PHP 1500+ per included a spread of individually prepared caesars salad, fresh lumpia and fresh mango or four season slush section, choice of either corn or nilagang baka/beef broth soup, piping hot roast section of tender juicy beef or spring chicken, a pick and choose your pansit or noodles...main dishes offered a wide selection of local mainstays like beef caldereta, banana blossom in spicy coco milk, crunchy pork belly kare-kare, chicken ala creamy mushroom, red or white jasmin…

Before checking in, we decided to have our late lunch here. The ambiance, the venue and everything is by far the best. Relaxing view of the taal as well. They offer vegetarian options like the pomodoro, pesto pasta and vegetariana pizza. We also availed of the high tea snacks. I would say that it is worth dining here, servings are good and you will get your money’s worth.

Me and my wife celebrated Valentine’s Day here 2024, the food is ok, but could be better, staff are welcoming, and the place is clean, well-lit, and very pleasant. looks like it is properly maintained, well it’s a prime hotel it should be. Overall experience is good, food vs buffet price is not that ok, it can be improved, I mean the food choice is the typical pinoy food that you can eat anywhere here in Tagaytay nothing new, but it’s a consolidation of those comfort food that you like here in the Philippines, perhaps since this Hotel caters for foreign people it surely will represent our loc…
