It was last minute decision to “salubong” welcome my birthday by going bar hopping. I immediately checked online for the best bars near Timog and Morato. I have like 12 bars on my list. I chose Vertigo Bar to be my first stop to welcome my birthday (0005H) and blow my birthday candle. Luckily, the hotel restaurant had a mini cake and the staff was kind enough to get me one. Perhaps it was bad timing for us, but it is not pleasant to eat at a table right next to the pool while a bunch of kids are splashing around in it... Otherwise the atmosphere especially at night is nice. The food is ok too. Service can improve...

Alternative option for those who prefer a quiet and secluded place to drink with a nice view. Ordering is a bit inconvenient especially if you're seated in one of their pool side cabanas because their short-staffed and won't notice you immediately if you need them. Food took a while to be served, I think 40 mins more or less for a solo plate of pasta and small pizza. Appetizer selection is very limited which is a down side for a bar but will definitely try it again and will come early to avail of their Happy Hour promo which is until 8pm only.
