Huge fan of walastik pares, you can call me connoisseur if you may. I was looking forward to tasting their "mata"(eye) and "utak"(brain) (my go-to) but sadly, their "utak" ran out, so I just ordered "mata". All of the essentials in a walastik pares place are there, soy sauce, chopped green onions, calamansi, chili, EXCEPT for 1 thing, garlic. For me garlic is an important part for your walastik pares experience, but there are none. Their "mata" is okay, lack of fat personally from their soup. The soup is unlimited as well, so refill all you want. You can ask for more fat (if there are more)…

One good local spot near condominiums at Washington. The food was really good, al fresco dining. Best time to come here from 6PM to 9PM. Come later and you may find other items on the menu already out of stock. Edit: Now with an updated Menu and prices. Rice is now unlimited with drinks. You can choose between Mineral Water, Soda, or Pineapple juice. Menu attached

would have been 5 stars if the laman was good… but they served us way too many atay with their all-in meat…. Thats a first for all the pares ive tried….. (And 10:30 pa lang, wala na silang lechong kawali at softdrinks..!! GG) (By the way, if u like gravy style soup, this is their pares-soup type). I recommend choose the meat u like, like karne, twalya & balat… If u choose their all-in, they will put way too many atay…☠️
