Located in a highly accessible area; The Fort Strip, this is a great spot to enjoy a decent meal, snacks, highballs, and beer. While many new Japanese restaurants have recently opened in BGC, there's a reason why established places like this continue to thrive over the years.

Imagine eating at a humble Japanese restaurant in a small town somewhere in Kyoto. Dining here somehow gives off that vibe. The place was orderly, and the food was generous. It didn’t take a long while before the dishes were served. Prices are higher than average. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience.

We went here during lunch time It was a pleasant experience The food tasted good. Although the taste is different than your traditional Japanese restaurant because this an izakaya style restaurant. - The beef ribs I had was very delicious and tender! The rice was well cooked. - Although the miso soup has this different taste I can't decipher. - The yakitori is a bit dry - The california maki was really good The staff are really nice and accomodating. The interior ambience is really clean. If you are looking for a Japanese restaurant to eat during lunch, this is a really good place!

Salmon and uni were pretty good but the yakitori, beef and yasai itame were kinda bland. For a small place, it was pretty hard to get the 4 server's attention. It's like they're intentionally avoiding eye contact. Ventilation was poor during our visit with numerous electric fans on the floor. For a 4k++ bill, best to go somewhere else.
